On Saturday, August 20, we will start from the Waschhaus Oberwürzbach (meeting point at 14:00) and head to Eichertsfels via the Eichertsfels trail to the memorial 'Dörr/Schwalbach' at Schützengraben. From there, the tour continues along the historical Banngrenze between the County of der Leyen, Pfalz-Zweibrücken, and Kloster Wadgassen towards the Marien-Relief. Extensive explanations will be given about the historical water supply, the construction of the Westwall bunker, geology and history of Eichertsfels, the historical Banngrenze, and the remains of a ring wall from Celtic-Roman times.
Proper footwear is required! The event is free. On Saturday, August 27, there will be a pony taster course for children aged 3 to 7 years from 14:30 to 16:30 at Triebscheider Hof with instructor Katja Kolb.
The fee is €25. Three supervisors will be on site. Reinschnuppern in 'Stress-free through Waldbaden' with practical exercises will be offered by Hildegard Bünger on Tuesday, August 30, from 17:30 to 18:30 at Fröschenpfuhl Hassel.
