Yesterday, Wednesday (17.06.2026), at around 11:00 a.m., there was a robbery against a motorist in Fischbach-Camphausen involving the theft of a wallet. In this context, the police are now asking the public for assistance.
A 35-year-old man from the Saarbrücken Regional Association was driving his car on Dudweilerstraße in Camphausen from Rußhütter Straße yesterday around 11:00 a.m. Two SUVs stopped the vehicle in front of the local railway underpass. Before several people from the SUVs could reach the stopped vehicle of the 35-year-old, he fled from his car. The perpetrators, still unknown, then stole a wallet containing a high five-figure amount from the vehicle. They subsequently fled in a green SUV towards Quierschied.
The getaway vehicle was secured by the police today in a parking lot near the Neuhaus forester's lodge. Further investigations are ongoing.
