On 01.07.2026, at around 09:50 a.m., a traffic accident occurred in Kirchengasse in St. Ingbert. An 87-year-old pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk with her walker. The driver of a black BMW was reversing her vehicle and came so close to the pedestrian, according to her statements, that she had to evade to avoid a collision. In doing so, the pedestrian fell and sustained a serious injury. Although the person responsible for the accident initially took care of the injured woman, she then unlawfully left the scene of the accident.
