Drumming course for beginners
Course offer from the Women's Office of the Saarpfalz district
The Women's Office of the Saarpfalz district is offering drumming courses for beginners again. The next courses will take place from Monday, August 10, 2026, and on 9 more Mondays from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. (beginners with prior knowledge/advanced) and from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. (beginners). The venue is the Café Frauenzimmer, Scheffelplatz 1 in Homburg; the course instructor is rhythm pedagogue Nicole Schweitzer (website: www.groove-prinzip.de).
The course focuses, building upon each other, on simple or more complex rhythms from Africa & Brazil, played together in a group. Through rhythm games, body percussion, voice, and movement, new arrangements are learned and playing techniques are practiced. Absolute beginners who have never played an instrument before are also very welcome.
The course fee is 115.00 euros / 87.00 euros (reduced).
